'Indigo Ivy' was developed as a new business idea when designer/founder Tess Cooke designed her own range of Ladies and Mens Tweed garments in her spare time whilst working full time in London. This initial range was based on tweed fabrics already available in the marketplace and was manufactured in London as a trial in 2011. To gauge market reaction to her concepts, she sold her trial products at the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim palace and Scone Game Fair in Perth, and also by word of mouth. The highly encouraging feedback was invaluable and many of the ideas are incorporated in her new range to date. Tess finally fulfilled her life long dream and moved home to Northern Ireland from London in 2012 to start up the business as a full time job.
